Developmental Specialist

Parent Infant Programs is currently seeking qualified early childhood Developmental Specialists to provide in–home services to families with children under three years of age exhibiting developmental delays. Developmental Specialists typically provide weekly home visits to monitor a child’s developmental progress, identify opportunities to enhance a child’s development, and provide support to caregivers in maximizing their child’s development. Developmental Specialist’s also provide comprehensive semi-annual written reports to the family and Far Northern Regional Center regarding the child’s current development, identify areas of need and develop goals to address those needs.   

Potential Developmental Specialists must have experience working with young children and families. A Bachelor’s degree in Child Development or related field is required. Must have clear DOJ, FBI with valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance.

Extended Developmental Intervention Specialist

Parent Infant Programs is currently seeking qualified Intervention Specialists to provide in–home services to children under three years of age exhibiting social and communication developmental delays. Intervention Specialists implement naturalistic, child centered activity based lessons designed by a Program Manager in the home to children experiencing challenges with their social and communication development. Intervention Specialists provide positive and supportive intervention experiences that successfully blend developmental and structured intervention strategies. Typically, Intervention Specialists provide home visits sessions 3-5 days per week per child.

Potential Intervention Specialists must have experience working with young children and families. A Bachelor’s degree in Child Development or related field is required. Must have clear DOJ, FBI with valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance.

Autism Support Specialist

Parent Infant Programs is currently seeking qualified Autism Support Specialists to provide in–home and community services to families with children 3-5 years old diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Autism Support Specialists implement naturalistic, family centered lessons designed by a Program Manager in the home and community environments. Autism Support Specialists also collaborate with caregivers to support a child’s participation in family and community activities.  

Potential Autism Support Specialists must have experience working with young children and families. A Bachelor’s degree in Child Development or related field is required. Must have clear DOJ, FBI with valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance.
