COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

Parent Infant Programs is committed to following the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and the local county public health departments (Shasta, Butte, Tehama, and Glenn) regarding in person visits for the duration of this pandemic.

While these guidelines naturally limit some of our ability to provide in-home service we are pleased to be able to provide an array of services that continue to support children and families in ways that keep them and our staff safe.

These services include, but are not limited to, virtual visits, materials drop off, video sharing, online activities and numerous other ways to support and connect with families. Depending on current COVID-19 outbreak conditions in the community we may be able to provide physically distanced community visits or in some cases home visits with proper safety protocols.

The Developmental Consultant will work with the family to design and adapt a service that keeps families and staff safe while continuing to support caregivers in maximizing their child’s development.
